NTN Encore Question of September 22nd, 2007.
Answers:
I wasn't playing this week. Once again I was at an MLS game with Toronto FC vs Columbus Crew. There was no Reserves game scheduled but I couldn't catch a streetcar out of the place so I walked to the subway station. I resolved that their last game of the season next month, I will take my car and drive home to save a minimum of 45 minutes. My friends were attending the Rush concert tonight! Hometown boys back in Toronto to give a show. By the time I got home it was time to turn around and go out so I decided to stay home again this week. I hadn't read about music this week either.
Thanks to Steven/SEKA from the Playback message board for the recap.
I saw in the recap that I wouldn't have known half the questions in the OnBeat round so I wouldn't have made 20000 before the Encore.
Encore Question:..."Close Enough To Perfect" and "Mountain Music" were hit for them in 1982.

Correct Answer:....2. Alabama
Extra Fact:..."Take Me Down" was also a hit for the group in that same year.
I would have had this one. The give-away for me would be the song and album title "Mountain Music". The other song I didn't know. The Oak Ridge Boys had a 'Mountain' man in their group (William Lee Golden) but that's not quite the same.
