Tonight I'm playing with two boards as ROCKET and LITBOX with Sean METLCA, Rob COSMO, and Phil PLBAAB. Actually for the first two rounds of the Playback game, I'm running the PLBAAB board too as Phil is talking to a friend from days gone by.

This wasn't so good on the guessing front with me not guessing right on any of them. OnBeat...ROCKET...12500/14000...1st/10...my two boards and PLBAAB and COSMO win. ..........LITBOX...12500/14000...1st/10. 9 right and 0 wrong was great as I really ran through this round. It may be one of my last as my time will be taken over by the soccer season. JukeBox...ROCKET...17593/20000...1st/11...my two win round. ...........LITBOX...17593/20000...1st/11. We chose two Dolly Parton questions this round which may have been a subliminal message for the Encore question. Triviaoke...ROCKET...23093/28000...2nd/11...COSMO wins round and takes the lead. .........LITBOX...23093/28000...2nd/11. I take two -250s in this round and surprise myself by getting the last question which is always some current chart song. Hey in synch fingers gets me a matching score on both boxes.

Hmm. Well every one has had a long career. Let's start with Madonna...first hit not until the early 1980s. Rob has already said 'Cher'. I'm in for that. Dolly Parton is too much a Country star. We've already had two Parton questions in the JukeBox round. Diana Ross and Tina Turner had fizzled by the 90's hadn't they? With 15 seconds to go I finally think of the Cher hit 'Believe'. Yeah that's it. I feel a lot better now. Geez, I have her double CD greatest hits collection. Last worry was one at the table thought the question said solo work*.

I'm right and stay in 2nd with both ROCKET and LITBOX with 34639. I finish 7th overall in all North America. The bar is 4th in North America with a 33931 average. I earn 3000+ points for making this week's points standard which I miss reading. COSMO wins with 35334 and is 5th on the Network Top 20 and 2nd on this bar's Hall of Fame list.

I wore my 'Toronto FC' scarf I received with my soccer tickets yesterday. The televisions were all tuned to the hockey game. I didn't know the score and just as well as they were beaten by New England Revolution 4-0. They've opened up with an 0-2 record so it could be a long season.
I was recognized by Tom PHREDD, who reminded me he was a friend of DAVETV from years back. He was more looking forward to talking to Phil when he arrived later. They played in a team that I'd compete against when the bar I used to go to closed at the end of 1997. He said he's good at jazz music which would be much welcomed by the team I play with now but we're only coming here 50% of the time.
