NTN Encore Question of March 17th, 2007.
Played at Joe Mercury's Bar & Grill in Toronto, Ontario.
Answers:
Tonight I'm playing with two boards as ROCKET and LITBOX with Sean METLCA, Rob COSMO, and Phil PLBAAB.
My game so far had gone like this: TuneUp...ROCKET...4500/5000...1st/10...my two boards co-win round with METLCA and DRUID. ..........LITBOX...4500/5000...1st/10. I got some help in this round but I did more guessing than usual. The other big concern was to sign on my ROCKET board between each game because it would ask me which game I wanted to play. For the other games I couldn't remember. Sean had a board like that too. There's no subway detour this week so I'm here at the beginning of the game. OnBeat...ROCKET...11500/14000...1st/9...the five of us co-win this round. ..........LITBOX...11500/14000...1st/9. 7 right and 2 wrong was better than my last few weeks but I should have got George Strait for most ACM nominations because I made a note of it a few weeks ago. JukeBox...ROCKET...16458/20000...2nd/9...PLBAAB wins round. ...........LITBOX...16456/20000...3rd/9. This week there was an Irish theme for all the categories for St Patrick's Day although not always the answer. Rob wanted 'The Chieftains' categories and got us high scores for the two questions. Triviaoke...ROCKET...22278/28000...1st/9...ROCKET wins round and takes the lead. .........LITBOX...22266/28000...2nd/9. I take one -250 in this round and it was the last question which was a modern song. Another one I switched for about 160.

Now the Encore answers come up. I don't think about this because I just notice that this couldn't be an Irish themed answer.
Encore Question:...Kenny Jones, formally of The Small Faces, was a replacement for this deceased rock icon:

.
I give the answer before the answers come back up. I know this group played a farewell concert in Toronto (over 20 years ago?) and I'd heard who the drummer would be. Near the end I got a jolt when I saw Brian Jones up there then had to realize what the question was again. No change, Jones is the question, not the answer...I'm alright.
Correct Answer:....3. Keith Moon
[NTN Extra Fact:... The Who hired Jones and keyboardist John "Rabbit" Bundrick after Keith Moon's death in 1978].
I wouldn't have gotten it if they'd have asked who John Bundrick was. Someone on the Playback message board noticed realized the spelling should be 'Kenney' Jones.
I'm right and win as ROCKET with 33417. I finish 7th on the Network Top 20 in all North America. The bar is 5th in North America with a 31909 average. I earn 3000+ points for making this week's standard of 21000 points. I'm 10th on this bar's Hall Of Fame.
