We're here a second week in a row as Phil wanted to line up The Frog & Firkin for next week as his staff Christmas party is there in the afternoon so it's easier for him to just stay an extra few hours.

OnBeat...ROCKET...11000/14000...3rd/9...my two boards and COSMO, and METLCA co-win this round. ..........LITBOX...11000/14000...3rd/9. 7 right and 2 wrong was alright but I should have got the Mary J Blige question because earlier today I actually wrote down she'd won 9 Billboard awards. I don't know this. I say '4' before the answers come back up. Then I start to doubt that maybe all the titles were released by this group. I got my friends not to split the answer. I just knew this band wasn't really popular until 2001.

I'm wrong and drop to 4th place as ROCKET with 9588. I finish 4528th overall in all North America. The bar is 18th in North America with a 10462 average. I earn 1500+ points for missing this week's standard of which I think was 21000 points. Everyone in the bar was wrong but HEVY D won because he only risk 10%. [ntn.com knocked our bar down to 131st out of 1891 with a 10462 average].
Wow that was a low score for all North America. I convinced our group to go with an album by The Verve released in 1997! Oops. My music book reveals that "America Town" was released in 2001 and "The Battle For Everything" came out in 2004. "Two Lights" was released in 2006 (found on the internet). "Message For Albert" wasn't in my book which means it couldn't have sold more than 6000 copies in any one week. That would make it pretty obscure. Strange I felt I should know this although it wasn't in my book because I'd glanced over an interview with Ondrasik within the last few months and that may have been some background info. Also earlier today driving my father home from grocery shopping we'd passed on our street "Albert's house" who we'd only known as "Lilac Man" over the years because of his garden but his name was Uncle Albert when I finally ask his nephew hauling away furniture that he'd fallen and had to be put in a nursing home. Haa. It's always the Paul McCartney song that I think of though.
I still felt bad because Sean said before the Encore he'd go for '3' if we didn't know. I'd thought about the quizwriters running the table this late in the year because they chose '1' and then '2' the last two weeks. Well first try next week I'll think all I can about '4' before the question comes up.
