Tonight I'm playing with two boards as ROCKET and LITBOX with Rob COSMO, Sean METLCA, and Phil PLBAAB. I had to e-mail them to ask which bar they were going to be this week because I'd lost track.
My game so far had gone like this: TuneUp...ROCKET...3500/5000...2nd/7...PLBAAB wins with 4000. ..........LITBOX...3500/5000...2nd/7...I'm in four way tie. I only guessed right 1 of 4 times for a pretty rough round. OnBeat...ROCKET...12500/14000...1st/7...I win round going 9 for 9. ..........LITBOX...12500/14000...1st/7. 9 right and 0 wrong was a great round. This is the round I feared having not played in a month and I hadn't kept up to date on music news knowing I had so many soccer games to attend and write up. The bookstore didn't have my reserved copy of Billboard in neither so I couldn't cram with it the night before. These questions were more mainstream than I thought. I guessed George Michael touring for the first time in 15 years whereas the others guessed something else. We had two Toronto answers with the new BareNaked Ladies album and Emily Haines solo album apart from Metric. Maybe that helped our final score. I'm right and stay at 2nd as LITBOX. I finish 8th overall in all North America. The bar is 4th in North America with a 32674 average. I earn 3000+ points for making this week's standard which I didn't notice before the game started. Sean wins and is 6th on the Network Top 20. [ntn.com moves our bar down to 5th out of 1623 bars].
Soccer season is wrapping up so I should be coming more Saturday's from now on.
