Tonight I'm playing with two boards as ROCKET and LITBOX with Rob COSMO, Sean METLCA, and Phil PLBAAB. I had to e-mail them to ask which bar they were going to be this week because I'd lost track. I arrived directly from watching the Caribana parade and have sunburn on my neck and arms from the elbows down.

OnBeat...ROCKET...11000/14000...3rd/7...METLCA wins round with 8 of 9. ..........LITBOX...11000/14000...3rd/7. 6 right and 3 wrong wasn't great but I hadn't been keeping up with music news this month. Sean says "Ford" as an answer of Taylor Hicks new endorsement deal but we thought he was saying '4'. I don't think I'd have got it anyway. We'd played a JukeBox game earlier tonight which usually only comes up Friday night when I'm not here. Those questions seemed easy. I don't know this. It's like they've squeezed in another Triviaoke question. Well not '5' and as I thought about it I didn't think it would be'4' neither. Someone suggested 'Give It Away'. Red Hot Chili Peppers are pretty popular with the quiz writers. I hadn't thought about it then but they'd already asked a much repeated question about them in the TuneUp round. Phil suggests 'Mr Jones'. Yeah I like that better now than the chorus of 'Give It Away' so I change my answer. What about '3'? Don't know the lyrics of that song except the title. So could be 2, 3, or 4.

I'm wrong stay at 4th as ROCKET. I finish 6554th in all North America. The bar is 1999th in North America. I earn 1500+ points for not making this week's standard of 18000 points. Sean wins. Only some guy playing as MOJO gets this right in our bar. [NTN.com listed the bar at 430th out of 1982].
Soccer season is still on so it may be another three or four weeks until I'm out again. Too bad about missing this week because the only time I would have missed otherwise this summer was The Eagles question. Rob says they got The Eagles questions right so that would have ran a perfect summer. The Top 20 bars all have averages over 30000 so they must have found this week's question really easy or the competition is getting better.
