Tonight I wasn't playing as I was at a soccer game in North York. Caribbean Selects tied Laval Dynamites 2-2. Knowing that I wasn't coming out, I hadn't been reading about current news. I looked through GIRLIE's recap of the OnBeat round and don't think I'd have gotten five or six of them.

I would have got this easily enough. It seems like every few days I see an ad for "Welcome Back Kotter" and John Sebastian's theme song. I know he was in The Lovin' Spoonful. I also would have known Zal Yanovsky (lead guitar) because of his unusual name and that he was from Canada. Steve Boone (bass) and Joe Butler (drums) I wouldn't have known. Neither of the bars I go to had good scores.
