NTN Encore Question of May 13th, 2006.
I wasn't playing this week.

Answers

  1. Screaming Trees
  2. Soundgarden
  3. Nirvana
  4. Alice in Chains
  5. Moby Grape

Tonight I wasn't playing as I'd just seen two soccer games with the Toronto Lynx and the Toronto Lady Lynx home openers so I had a lot to type up. Knowing that I wasn't coming out, I hadn't been reading about current news. That should be a problem between now and the middle of October as I keep ontop of the other half of my web pages.

Answer: 1. SCREAMING TREES

I wouldn't have known this and would have had to guess. Not exactly one of five because I could have pitched out Moby Grape because it was a band formed by a member of Jefferson Airplane (actually this was asked a few weeks ago in another round) so they were from the 1960s. Also I know enough about Nirvana to know it wasn't them. One out of three?

This is where playing with friends would have helped. A week later Phil PLBAAB said he got it right. I noticed the Frog & Firkin finished 25th best bar with only three boards so my two boards were missed. Rob COSMO finished Top 20 on the Network Rankings.
