It looks like I won't be able to make 20000 before the Encore. We did get the Canadian question right for knowing the members of Great Big Sea. JukeBox...ROCKET...15360/20000...3rd/5...METLCA wins round. PLBAAB in lead. ...........LITBOX...15339/20000...4th/5. A good round. Rob was able to call out the James Bond themes right away. Triviaoke...ROCKET...23290/28000...1st/5...ROCKET wins round. .........LITBOX...22291/28000...4th/5. I didn't take any -250s this round. We get the Canadian answer for Gordon Lightfoot's "Sundown" lyrics right away. I'd been having trouble with my LITBOX board all evening with it not recording maybe one answer per game so this game it took until the Triviaoke round for it to happen. Answer now! But I am!

I don't know this. None of us know. Well at least it isn't another Triviaoke style Encore for the third week in a row. I'm in both boards for '5'. "Do the Bowling For Soup guys have made-up names?" I ask. The only one we can rule out is Velvet Revolver because we know it's a former member of Guns N' Roses is the drummer. Phil says he'll go with Los Lonely Boys. Hmm Mexican-American. Maybe because I'd played Lorne Greene's "Ringo" recently about an outlaw from the Old West did I think that might be good. I said I was switching and that it might be a good choice.

I'm right and win with ROCKET at 34935. I finish 4th in all North America. The bar is 11th in North America with a 24820 average. I earn 3000+ points for making this week's standard of 18000. Nice comeback after a poor OnBeat round. [NTN.com left us in 11th place out of 1526 bars].
I was surprised when I saw the scores of other bars were so low. I looked back later and found Los Lonely Boys self titled album went double platinum and was on the Top 200 for over a year. Somebody must be buying their albums but I guess just not NTN players. I was also surprised that my score this week put me on the Hall Of Fame at #3 so it must be that some of my old scores are disappearing.
