Tonight I'm playing with three boards as ROCKET, LITBOX, and TLYNX (named for the USL soccer team Toronto Lynx) with Richard BERGIE/BIGSLK. Richard asked for a fifth board for us to rank the bar and soon after I'm glad he did because my LITBOX board was locked onto a menu counting my P+ points and so I missed the first two TuneUp questions. Rob COSMO/PLBAAB is also playing but doesn't want to sit at the bar so ends up playing alone.

The categories didn't give me a hint that they'd be about Country music artists. This is more like an OnBeat round question because it's something from this year. Also very popular with the quiz writers is to ask something about the first song/album someone has done or the latest thing they've done after they've faded somewhat from popularity (like Bette Midler). Well I do remember reading about this a few months ago so tell Richard I'm going with Huey Lewis. Bryan Adams was in Toronto earlier in the week giving a concert at the Air Canada Centre. I should have checked with Rob to see if he'd gotten it but stayed in my spot.

Rob would have won the game if we'd all played together because he only earned 3000 in the OnBeat round but won the other rounds. He said he gave his other board to Phil when he arrived but Phil PLBAAB didn't get a chance to answer the Encore.

10:00pm...Richard asked to play On-line Poker so I spent my last half hour here tonight playing that instead of RetroTV.
