Tonight I'm playing with two boards as ROCKET and LITBOX with Rob COSMO/CYCLE2 and Phil PLBAAB. I'm surprised they're here again three weeks in a row.
My game so far had gone like this:

I split on one and was right on 2 of 2 guesses and the guys gave me one.

4 right and 5 wrong was dreadful. I should have known more instead of relying on their guesses and
miscommunication ("I thought you knew") led me to change to the wrong answers a few times. Looks like I won't make
20000 before the Encore round. I didn't spend enough time studying. I actually wasted some of the afternoon searching
through boxes of tapes to play the Kate Bush video from last week's Encore. Actually not how I remembered it but
the song was what I must have remembered.

I read the words 'Jug Band' and think "How 1960s is that?". That should narrow it down. I know I've read something about so I pick Jerry Garcia. I tell the others. Phil's in OK but Rob was splitting between two other answers. Phil gets him to change but he only has time for one and has a board marooned on Bruce Hornsby. [actually I later read he was a member of Grateful Dead in later years].

I could have been more positive and forced everyone to switch earlier but I had to think about it because I wasn't sure. The fact isn't mentioned in my book at home which gives a brief bio of each group so I must have read that somewhere else or it might have even been a question in an ntn game.
I'm right and advance one place as LITBOX with 27771. I finish 112th on the Network Top 20 in all North America. The bar finishes at 277th thanks to the splitting. If we'd moved every box to the correct answer, we'd have just made the Top 20. I earn 3000+ points for meeting this week's standard of 20000 points. [ntn.com moved our bar up to 29th out of 1883 with a 25239 average].

I got beaten up this game. Could I see this coming? I came in tonight to sit down at the table and caught my knee on one of the iron table legs that are in the middle of the table as support. When my friends left after the game, I switched sides to face the monitor and hit the same knee on the other side of the table.
