Tonight I'm playing with two boards as ROCKET and LITBOX with Rob COSMO and Phil PLBAAB/CYCLER. We've really only got four boards though as CYCLER is on another frequency and someone else kept changing the name and answers. I got this extra board at the last minute from an abandoned spot of the counter so maybe that's why it was left there.

That's better than I thought because I had let my music reading lapse in the last three weeks knowing I wasn't going to be playing. I had another answer right on a guess than changed at the last second whereas my friends didn't. Certainly a pleasant reversal from our 2 right, 7 wrong effort the last time we teamed up. Well Phil was right. This group has a new album out and there's been a lot of stories I've read about Damon Albarn recently and how they were going to tour with real musicians and then a concert review for when they were here in Toronto. The group Blur had their song "Song 2" used in a beer commercial for a year or so in Canada. Phil said "all that handwringing, for what?". NTN could have had some heads spin if they'd also given the choice of 'Blue' which is a UK boy-band. A trick optical illusion for people like me who don't see very well.
I'm right and win as ROCKET at 30987. I finish 25th in all North America. The bar finishes at 26th in all North America with in effect four working boards. I earn 3000+ points for meeting this week's standard of ????? points. The other bar scores were not very good and we should have easily made the top 20 with the 24xxx points required. [ntn.com moved us up to 22nd place bar with a 24369 average].
