Tonight I'm playing with two boards as ROCKET and LITBOX with Rob COSMO, Sean METLCA and Phil PLBAAB.

OnBeat...ROCKET...6500/14000...3rd/8...PLBAAB and NUDNIK win round with 4 of 9 right. ..........LITBOX...6000/14000...6th/8. 2 right and 7 wrong. That's the worst round of OnBeat I can remember. I wouldn't have expected that until late in the summer. Maybe too many cooks at our table. Once I'd missed a few, I doubted everything I could think of. I maybe should have got four right. Also having friends got me the answer sooner so I didn't have those 200 point switches. I came pretty close to making 20000. On some e-mail penpal site somewhere, I once listed my favourite song as "Brian Wilson" by Barenaked Ladies and wouldn't you know this week it was the question of the round; which is usually one where time after time I've taken a -250. Ooh. I get a 1000 instead.

Now the Encore answers come up. Looks like gibberish phrases except for one which I recognized. I start talking about it. Now this week let me concentrate and press in 50% as the points risk.

Wow. I knew this even before the question came up. No worries that the other phrases may have been made up. I'd heard of Brian Jonestown Massacre over the years from the underground entertainment papers; especially over the last year because of the movie/DVD reviews for their feud with the Dandy Warhols. The group's name is like one of those Wheel Of Fortune answers when they combine two phrases. Yep I knew this one right away.

I'm here in time for the last question. I try to sign on my second board but see that it has the same frequency as a board Rob was using so I
let it go. I don't give it back because Rob has already done that and they gave it back out again. I hide it under our table after Rob fiddles with
it but can't change the frequency and get another board half hour later.
