I tip everyone that Whitney Houston entered rehab voluntarily rather than court order but mixed her up with Billy Joel. Oops. I go 9 for 9 for maybe the last time for six months because soccer starts next week and I've got a game to go to on Thursday night and Saturday afternoon and won't have the time to read on-line music news. The Toni Braxton and Pearl Jam songs I even own but couldn't get the lyrics. Well I got the Beach Boys song for full marks. Hmm the Beach Boys Encore question was the last time I got the Encore right and that was over a month ago.

I don't know this. Richard says he's going for '2' while I have '5'. I can get rid of the other three choices quite easily. I'm thinking about splitting because unless we all pick the same answer, we're not going to get a high bar score. We only have the minimum five boards. I stay with what I've got but I like his choice.

I'm wrong and drop to third as ROCKET at 11492. I finish 278th in all North America. The bar finishes 579th in North America. I earn only 1500 Players Plus points for missing this week's standard of 17000. Richard wins as BERGIE at 23823. Good one Richard! When he first said hello tonight, he was surprized to see me because he didn't realize it was Saturday night! [ntn.com moves the bar up to 61st with a 15592 average out of 2012 bars].
I know what I should have been thinking. I noticed that second songs poor grammar and I remember reading the title once before. Actually last night after the game I remembered something more obvious and that's the quizmakers are more likely to ask a question of someone who has an album that's just come out in the last few weeks, especially if they've not asked anything about her in the OnBeat round (think back to Simple Plan earlier this year). I know saw I saw her new CD in the shop the week before. I should have read the song titles for grammar and maybe that would have been closer to the front of my mind. Yeah I know I had Brandy's Greatest Hits in my hand this week but I know all of her songs.

If I'd have got that Encore right, I would have just squeaked onto the Top 20. It will probably be the last time I get close until the soccer season is over because my OnBeat round will begin to suffer spending so much time going to games and writing up reports. I think I'll change my opinion about splitting for the final question. Most of the groups that play in the teams that write to the Playback message board use this practise. Getting the final question wrong messes up my week. Next time if in doubt, I'll try it. Most of the time, I can narrow the possibilities down to two anyway.
