Tonight I'm playing alone up at the bar with two boards as ROCKET and LITBOX.
My game so far had gone like this: TuneUp...ROCKET...4500/5000...1st/7...my two boards win round. ..........LITBOX...4500/5000...1st/7. I'm 0 for 1 in guessing answers and again falter on the 10th question. "Live At The Max" was a Rolling Stones album that never made the charts I find out later. Everything else I knew before the answers were displayed. OnBeat...ROCKET...13500/14000...1st/7...my two boards win round. ..........LITBOX...13500/14000...1st/7. I go 9 for 9 in this round. Very pleased! Three others got 6 right which was good for the casual players around here. JukeBox...ROCKET...17176/20000...2nd/11...LITBOX wins round. ...........LITBOX...17183/20000...1st/7. I couldn't control the categories with only two boards but got all but one choice of what I wanted. There were two that I had to change my answer right at the end. As I'd noticed all night, pressing both boards at the same time unless it was the full 1000 points, everytime one box or another would be out by 10 to 20 points. Triviaoke...ROCKET...21248/28000...1st/7...ROCKET wins round. .........LITBOX...21241/28000...2nd/7. I took three -250s this week so that was a letdown. That should cost me a Top 20 place.

Lucky I know this one as the only other band I could eliminate would be The Beatles. Well I'm in with The Beach Boys and walk over to a table I'd been scouting to give the answer to two cute 20-something girls. They immediately change their answers. Hmm I should be able to find out their nicknames soon enough! Now back to my spot to protect my boards. Yep here comes the troup of smokers who've just come back inside after a cigarette sizing up my boards. Make my presence known and then wait to find out I won the game. All that in 30 seconds!

I'd read enough about The Beach Boys to know this. I believe this fact about their early name has been revealed before in an Extra Fact over the last year. That's one of the reasons I always read those things.
