Tonight I'm playing with two boards, ROCKET and LITBOX all alone. Some other people were playing scattered around but I'd pulled away from their scores during the Triviaoke round. Still they could have won because I always bet 50% in Encore. I'm glad I came early because this bar finally got the new NTN boards. They took some getting used to. The buttons above the keyboard were too small for my big fingers but the number keypad which looks like it's used for football games were ok but not aligned to what I'm used to. I used to keep my finger on '3' and move left or right on the old boards but felt my confort zone here was '5' then move my fingers up or right to change an answer.

Triviaoke...ROCKET...22673/28000...2nd/6...ROCKET wins round. .........LITBOX...22693/28000...1st/6. No -250s in this round and overall a very good round for me. I've pulled well ahead of the other players.

Oh great. I know this one. She's been interviewed in the alternate entertainment papers in my city over the last few years. Sort of like what they're doing with Interpol just the week after the Encore question about them. I take back thinking all the bands have girl lead singers when I see The Hives displayed again as an answer. I go around the bar giving out the answer but HD knows it (I wouldn't doubt that) and CROW must have ignored me. I never do something like that unless I'm 100% sure.

I'm right and win as LITBOX with 34039. I finish 18th in all North America. I earn 3000 Players Plus points for meeting this week's 19000 standard. The bar finishes 632nd in North America with a 21018 average. [ntn.com moved us up to 40th of 1734 bars]. My score tonight put me Number 1 in our Hall of Fame because this was the first time these new playmakers had ever played this game! I'll have to start from scratch. I owned all ten places on the old system.

This was a game of car racing. I knew none of the answers in this one either and just guessed everything and waited for the correct answers to come up. Some of the other players appeared unaware they could change their answer and that was the only reason I won.
