1. Elmer Bernstein
2. Dave Grusin
3. Aaron Copland
4. David Byrne
5. Danny Elfman

I wasn't playing this week. I was away at a soccer banquet. After this week, I should be playing
trivia on Saturday's regularly. Thanks to GIRLIE on the Playback message board for the recap.

Encore Question: This composer earned 14 Oscar nominations for his film scores and songs:

Correct Answer...1. Elmer Bernstein

I would have gotten rid of David Byrne and Danny Elfman because they wouldn't have been in the business
long enough to have won that many nominations. That would leave three but when I saw the recap, before peeking
at the answer I guessed Elmer Bernstein figuring he was an old guy, momentarily mixing him up with Leonard
Bernstein the conductor. I read through the OnBeat round and would have got maybe four out of nine so there was
no way I was going to reach 30000 points that night. Hopefully, I'd have bottomed out and will have the time to
start reading current music events again.
