Tonight I'm playing with two boards, ROCKET and LITBOX all alone. Some other people were playing scattered around but I'd pulled away from their scores. Still they could have won because I always bet 50% in Encore.

I score 7 right and 2 wrong which was pretty good as I just crammed flipping through a copy of Billboard magazine and their web site this afternoon. Triviaoke...ROCKET...20781/28000...1st/6...ROCKET wins round. .........LITBOX...20781/28000...1st/6. I had two -250s in this round but made my 20000 standard. One song I'd never heard of I changed at the last second or I would have had a score but I didn't think the lyrics would finish that way. On the last question, I tie myself by accident.

Well before the answers come back I've thrown out The Guess Who. Then when the answers are reshown out goes The Knack. (hey I didn't realize that the last time I played last month, The Knack were also the #2 answer). I had a white friend back in junior high school with the last name of Franklin and remembered when I'd read the name of singers named Franklin they've usually been black. So I'm concentrating on the Franklin name. I'm in with The Temptations but switch to The Drifters. Wait I know for sure that someone in The Temptations had the last name Franklin so I switch back. (still burning over that Jethro Tull lyric of the last round). OK wait for it.

Yes! That's why I had that name on my mind recently because of reading the Rick James obituary when that made the papers weeks ago.
