Tonight I'm playing with three boards, ROCKET and LITBOX and on a non-Players Plus board CATPOO upon last week's discovery that I could get away with this name. Nick had left before this game started so it was me all alone.

Now the Encore answers come up. Artists with only one name? A few years ago [looking back February 17, 2001 actually when the answer was Jewel] they asked about surnames so I begin to guess through the surnames of some of these people before the answers disappeared. I then turn around and see that other players in the distance have disappeared. Isn't anyone here?

Well that was easy. The quiz writers have given her name out before when they've added an extra fact at the end of a tune up question. It's the surname of one of the regulars who used to come out Saturday nights more than a year ago as I mentioned that fact to him before it actually popped up. Now was to press in the answers for the abandoned boards. One table had the board turned off but a beer and a purse were still there. Nope she'd actually signed off because the 'Welcome' screen came up. Another board at the bar had also been turned off. If I wanted to play four boards which I kept running through the RetroTV Countdown when Nick left I could have kept them but when one blinked 'RF was off' I gave that board back. Well take our lumps. Best player was LDD who was only 2000 points behind me until the middle of the Jukebox round when that player just left.
[Other surnames were Jewel Kilcher, Cher Sarkisian/La Piere/Bono/Allman (I was playing her greatest hits last week, she was also an answer in this week's OnBeat round), Ashanti Douglas (if I'd seen it I would have got it), and Eve Jeffers (would have only got this by eliminating everyone else)].
