Tonight I'm playing with my two boards ROCKET and LITBOX at a table with Richard BERGIE and his friends from work and volleyball team. We control the top seven boards and there are seven of us. Glad to see him again and also some non-playing friends after between weeks and months for some of them.

My game so far had gone like this:
TuneUp...ROCKET...3500/5000...4th/7...STELLE, WSNAKE and BERGIE win round with 4000.
.............LITBOX...3500/5000...4th/7...not a good start for me.
OnBeat...ROCKET...10500/14000...1st/7...my two boards are all alone in first...7 right, 2 wrong.
...........LITBOX...10500/14000...1st/7...my two boards co-win round with CLIVE.
JukeBox...ROCKET...14605/20000...1st/8...STELLE wins round.
...........LITBOX...14596/20000...2nd/8...we control all the categories.
Triviaoke...ROCKET...19894/28000...2nd/8...LITBOX wins round.
.........LITBOX...19898/28000...1st/8...I take two -250s early and realize I can't make 20000 points.\

Now the Encore answers come up. Something about Swing music? This could be tough but Richard says we should get it.

Encore Question:...Who gets into the swing on the 2003 CD "Nitro Burnin' Funny Daddy"?

I don't know this but zero in 2003 and put out Harry Connick Jr as I knew his album was "Harry For The Holidays" and expect Donald Fagen is hibernating until the next Steely Dan album comes out years from now. I remember Brian Setzer scheduled for talk show appearances a few months ago but missed them because there was always a guest I wanted to see more on whatever was the rival channel. I haven't said anything yet and Rick thinks it Brian Setzer. The first answer in this game that our big table's given me (although I am on the end and am looking up on a tough angle). Yeah. That's what I was thinking I tell him.

Correct Answer:....4. Brian Setzer

[NTN Extra Fact:...The last track is a popular cover of "Luck Be A Lady".]

I'm right and win with LITBOX at 29847. I finish 508th in North America. I earn 3000+ Players Plus points for meeting this week's standard although I didn't catch how much it was. The bar finishes 202nd in North America with a 27270 average. [ntn.com site moved us up to 32nd out of 2150 bars],

Here's how the rest of the bar did:
Player	preEncore	Final	Rank	ntn.com rank
LITBOX	19898 29847 508 240
ROCKET	19898 29841 510 242
STELLE	17282 25923	1756 624
CLIVE	17106 25659	1840 657
WSNAKE	16721 25081	2023 740
BERGIE	15312 22968	2695	1135
MOLLY	11872 17808	4336	2286
PSMAN 3615	x 1807	9425	9648
[ntn.com listed 11670 players]

Other games:...I start the evening with ROCKET at 2,852,500 and LITBOX at 665,500 P+ points.
7:30pm...Countdown...ROCKET...3006/15000...2nd/3...500+ points...I'm 7621st in NA.
.............LITBOX...2933/15000...3rd/3...500+ points...I'm 7679th in NA...bar is 1908th...BERGIE wins...I'm here in time for the last four questions.
8:00pm...Countdown...ROCKET...10532/15000...1st/4...1000+ points...I'm 1615th in NA.
..........LITBOX...10523/15000...2nd/4...1000+ points...I'm 1622nd in NA...bar is 1093rd.
8:30pm...RetroTVCountdown...ROCKET...7774th/15000...2nd/4...500+ points...I'm 2100th in North America ...the bar is 1008th.
..............LITBOX...7787/15000...1st/4...1000+ points...I'm 2087th in North America...all new questions...one more Simpsons question and a few questions from 1990s shows leave me with the worst I've ever done in this game...Although this is a Canada only game, having scores this low throws us into the general North American rankings of this hour.
9:00pm...Playback (see above).
10:00pm...Countdown...ROCKET...8637/15000...6th/9...1000+ points...I'm 3676th in NA...the bar is 592nd.
...............LITBOX...9854/15000...3rd/9...1000+ points...I'm 2785th in NA...PSMAN wins (the only player not at our table)...STELLE gives me three answers or I would've finished lower.

On my way out I sign off my boards and try to log on with the name CATPOO. Surprised it worked! I had tried this name over 15 years ago and it was on the restricted list so I changed to LITBOX. I may have still have had a cat at that time.
