Tonight I'm playing Playback with my two boards with Richard BERGIE/DRUID and his friend Don MOLLY who'd just arrived with 10 minutes to spare and behind me was Jen JENNY and her boyfriend who signed on just before the first question. She works at another bar and had seen our bar rank on Saturday nights. Wow six boards working as a team.

Just what we need as there were about four Country questions. I got the Johnny Cash question. I know I've never heard the song before but have read the title in the last month. Richard says "Marvin Gaye" which sounds good as I've already pitched out 2, 3, and 4. I'm caught here here because to me it could be either 1 or 5. Richard splits but wants to help the group rank the bar. I say I'm going to go with Jerry Butler and he moves to switch but messes up and answers 5 on the board that's already on 5.

Richard wins with the board he kept on 1. Don moves up to 2nd as he said he'd answered '1' and when I said it wasn't 2,3, not 4 kept it on 1. I had read the title on a chart when I was tracking an Elvis hit less than a month ago. A disadvantage I had was that in the times I've ever listened to Oldies radio, it's always been the same six Marvin Gaye songs that ever get played. Yep, never heard 'Trouble Man' for the Encore years ago neither. Fourth time '1' has been the Encore answer in the last five weeks.
I'm wrong on both boards and fall to 3rd and 4th. I finish 6351st and 6356th in North America. I earn only 1500+ Players Plus points for not meeting this week's standard of 16000. The bar finishes 719th in North America. BERGIE wins with 34167. It took a high 35xxx to finish in the Top 20 Network this week. [ntn.com moved our bar up to 71st of 1914 bars].
