Tonight I'm playing with two boards alone until Richard BERGIE arrives with two questions to go in the TuneUp round and two round later by his friend Don MOLLY. I never expected to have 20000 points going into the Encore round after ending with 10000 at the end of the OnBeat round seeing how bad this year I am in the Triviaoke round.

This is a week out of date and I had barely cracked it open. I'm just too busy to keep up with music. Matching his minor songs with his movies was difficult. I don't know this but try to categorize them. Earl Scruggs played banjo on the Beverley Hillbillies Theme. Buck Owens on HeeHaw? "OK it's not Conway Twitty" is about all I can say and offer Earl Scruggs. Bob Wills I subliminally mix up with Mark Wills and think he's too modern. "Watch it be Bob Wills" I keep saying as I found trouble writing down the number '5' in my notes before the question came up as there must have been a nick in the countertop. I'm thinking that last week's answer was also '1'.

Hmm. Maybe another topical question as Buddy Ebson (Jed Clampett) died a few weeks ago.
Now I remember that it was Roy Clark who played the banjo on Hee Haw's "Pickin' And Grinnin'" segment and Buck Owens played the red, white, and blue guitar. Hey our guys get it! With my uncertainty I couldn't offer the answer to the three playing behind us although I'd helped them on some others.
