Tonight I've stayed home after just getting back from the Toronto Lynx home opener in A-League soccer. Although I could have got there in time, I instead typed up a game report for my page and the Voyageurs Canadian soccer supporters.
My friends were not going to the bar tonight and I hadn't had much time to study current music news this last week. My thanks for this week's Encore question and answer goes to 'Happy' on the Playback message board. Looking over their recap of every question I might have got four or five OnBeat questions so doubt I would have reached 20000 points going into the Encore round.

Hmm. What can I type this week to fill space before you peek at the answer? How about an incident last week? There's canned music playing from a music service in the bar as usual. This song is Matchbox Twenty's "Disease". I thought I'd show Rob and Sean that I was playing the group's album "More Than You Think You Are" on my Walkman on the walk to the pub night. Before I could speak, Doug CRANKY comes over from another table and says "Robin I know you know everything about music and I really love this song but it's bugging me that I don't know what it's called". Well it was spooky that I could show him right in my hand ! Of all the songs he could ask about. 100 to 1 or less chances of that happening!

I would have had this answer ! I've read this a few times over the years; most recently last summer right off the liner notes from their "Past Masters Volume 2" which was a compilation of songs that weren't on their UK albums. It would have continued my streak of Encore consecutive correct answers which has started to grow again to six in a row.
