I don't know this although I think that it would be a fellow Seattle band. I remember reading about the Mother Love Bone connection with Pearl Jam. I remember Jeff LEAFAN (banned from this bar earlier in the year) joked "It's always Soundgarden". A non player had blurted out the wrong answer in the OnBeat round insisting on Shakira instead of Paulina Rubio as Mexican but did help us get a Johnny Winter album title. He was sure it was Soundgarden. MADDOG and ZIGGY were also sure so I'll go with them.

I was out in Mississauga in the early evening watching a game in the local soccer league.
Last week I wasn't out at all as I was watching the A-League soccer game Toronto Lynx beat Calgary Storm 4-2. The Playback message board never got the full Encore question and answers for last week but I heard the answer from Sean METLCA 38835 (10th on NTN Top 100) and Rob COSMO 35919 (31st on NTN Top 100) who helped the bar finish 21st with a 22167 average. Something like "Ron Sexsmith's colourfully titled album was released last year". Correct answer was "Blue Boy" as opposed to the other choices offered such as Green Dress etc. Although this artist is from Toronto I wouldn't have known this title back in June 2002. I'm typing this up in November 2002.
