Triviaoke...ROCKET...21650/28000...3rd/13. ............LITBOX...21636/28000...4th/13...COSMO wins round and takes lead. METLCA is right behind...I have only one -250 but a few final second switches of less than 200 points.
Henry ROK fit in nice with more accurate suggestions than bad ones.

Encore Question:...All of these songs were #1 hits in the year 1999 except:

I should know this but Richard suggests 'No Scrubs' first and we're all in for that as he says that was earlier than the other songs. I waste time looking through my book for a chronological listing of #1s. Gee can't find anything but this of course is my Top Albums book! I was thinking of TLC earlier this week but it took me until I got home to realize why. Some songwriters have come forward and claimed they deserve credit for writing 'Unpretty' which was the follow up to 'No Scrubs' so there's a lawsuit. That would have been a jolt to realize that 'Waterfalls' was the song released years before the others. I was also mixing up Destiny's Child song 'Bills Bills Bills' with their first hit 'No No No' but I should have had this and was thinking the correct answer with 5 seconds to go but didn't switch. Last thought was 'Smooth' by Santana being definitely a 1999 song. ['3' was by Jennifer Lopez so didn't consider it not being 1999].

I'm wrong and fall to 10825 for ROCKET and 10818 for LITBOX. I fall to 4th and 5th if I remember right. The bar finishes something like 231st in North America as only the three boards of Rob and Sean hit it. I earn 1500+ Players Plus points on both boards for not meeting this week's 19000 point standard. No individual rankings were given and I was glad as the Men's Short Track Relay Race was under way and we watched Canada earn its second gold medal of the night!
Rob COSMO wins with 35600 and is 13th on the Network Top 20. He places both 5th and 6th on the bar's Hall Of Fame standings displacing two of my scores. Holding all the places for one week is how long I held it at Joe Grinders too! They said they switched at the last moment to the correct answer.

Just as bad was coming home and finding I'd overwritten last week's game report by not changing it's file name.
Watching sports here is never a distraction for me except for these last three weekends of the Olympics. Between games and while still sitting at a rickety table balancing two boards with Doug CRANKY, a woman named Susan recognizes me from finding my web site and we talked for awhile but I'm almost looking through her watching the television. I regret not being friendlier. Dave says that's about the fifth person who's found me from my internet site. At about 9:30pm, I push my way in to sit at the bar.
NHL hockey won't be distracting me. I've already lost a friend after 15 years as I got into an argument with him criticising Canada and the Canadian team when they were stuck at two medals in the first week. A tourist I wouldn't mind but I won't put up with that talk for any Canadian without pride. Yep, next disturbance to my playing Playback hopefully won't be until the start of the local soccer season in the late Spring.
