Tonight I'm playing with a small group of Marla ZIGGY, Bill MADDOG and Doug CRANKY. Just before the game started, Ray MAC and Dave COITIS left after the six of us had won three games finishing first or second on the Network Top 20 for individual scores. I'm glad I grabbed a second board.
With this smaller group, we couldn't win in our own bar because the METLCA/COSMO/COSMET table had the top three places.

We'd been outvoted on the first JukeBox Beach Boys question but got a gimme about Jefferson Airplane. I finish 1438th and 1439th in the individual ranks but my microrecorder wasn't rewound properly and ran out of tape without me knowing it. I think our top ranking was 399th. I say goodnight to Rob and Sean on my way out and they say I'll be number 1 next week in Playback because the old scores from one year ago disappear so The Regulars records will disappear.

8:30pm...Countdown...14981/15000...1st/9...I earn 2000+ points...I finish 2nd on the Network Top 20 in all North America for my best placing ever...the bar is 3rd in NA with an average of 13029...[The North American winner was DALLAS at Pegasus in Toronto who was the young guy I met here last month on October 20th].
9:00pm...Wipeout...5865/15000...7th/11...I earn only 500+ points because I can't meet the 9000 point standard, I'm wiped out by having five -250s in the first ten questions, actually finish with seven -250s. (gotta be my worst score that wasn't a special theme game like auto racing Wipeout)...No individual rankings were given for out top 10 players...the bar is 9th in NA with an 11122 average...Marla ZIGGY wins and is the number 1 player in NA with a 14038 score.
