Tonight I'm playing with Paul ZUKEE and Bill MADDOG. With the Easter weekend, there aren't any other regulars here. I was thinking about getting a second box an hour earlier so we could at least build our bar score but business picked up and there were 12 boxes out there but people kept leaving. There were only seven people still playing by the Encore question. My OnBeat round was my worst in a long time. I had only heard of one of the news headlines. I picked it up in the Triviaoke round with the old style--2 reasonable lyrics, 3 joke ones.
My game so far had gone like this: TuneUp....4000/5000....1st/12 in three way tie with SOB and ZUKEE. OnBeat...6500/14000...2nd/12...ZUKEE wins round...only 3 right, 2 wrong and 3 I didn't bother guessing. I only knew one of the news headlines. JukeBox...12280/20000...1st/9...I win this round. So the Encore question would be about country stars...again! I've let my book fall open at Ozzy Osbourne. I now bookmark Clay Walker as I know the least about him. Also Garth Brooks because I remember him from the five choices. Dave COITUS has just got here in time to possibly help out.

Well there's nothing about this fact under the Clay Walker listing. I don't bother looking for Garth Brooks. Maybe if I look under Lester Flatt and...nothing. Dave reminds me that there's only four seconds left. Well I won't move from Marty Stuart that I chose right from the start thinking of that babyface. Wouldn't be the first two but think later why not...Johnny Cash on an A&E biography was in the Korean War, Garth Brooks was on a track scholarship at university.
