I'm trailing in this game in 6th place playing with BERGIE, LEAFAN, and ZEDMAN but we'll all behind the Regular's table. I gained the lead early in the OnBeat round but faded out in Triviaoke when I couldn't seem to get anything right.
My game so far had gone like this:

OnBeat.....9250/14000....5th/14...4 people win round, KELLY has lead with 10000.
JukeBox....14274/20000....2nd/13...PHREDD wins round (he got here at end of OnBeat round).
Triviaoke....17131/28000....6th/13...MOLSON wins round.
We all put 50% of our points on the line for the Encore which I expect would be something about recent news; thinking of the short careers of all these artists.
Question:...Who performs with Kirk Franklin on the duet "Lean On Me"?
I don't know this one but know enough about Monica to know it isn't her. It could be any of the other four! 'Lean On Me'? Bill Withers, remake Club Nouveau. Kirk Franklin? Nu Nation, gospel songs. The others asked for my opinion. Thinking it would be a newly released song to follow up a current hit [no basis for this] it could be Mary J Blige or Faith Evans. Trying to remember a record review of Mary J Blige's latest, a live album, "The Tour", the not complementary review mentioned something about guest artists and Mary's shallow voice. Well live albums are always a chance to trot out the guest stars (?!). I press in '2' and tell the others what I've picked but said I wasn't sure at all.

I'm right and finish with 25697 points. That still leaves me in 6th place. I earn 3000+ Players Plus points for meeting this week's 16000 point standard. A disappointing night for me in scores with two 500+ point games earlier tonight suddenly looks better when our bar finishes 9th in North America with a 29009 point average. Then I feel a lot better when the individual standings are posted and I finish 108th in North America. So this is one tough bar! Now c'mon on a guess for that last question I should be happy.
[One week later and I'm even happier because it turns out it was Mary J Blige that was the guest on Kirk Franklin's album! I'm even luckier guessing this answer for all the wrong reasons].
[End of the month and I hear them sing it on the Grammy Awards and find it's not a cover tune at all...Oops].

Our group watched DAVETV finish Network Top 20 for Countdown and Wipeout games at 'Saints & Sinners' in Toronto. We wondered if it was a publicity stunt for a new bar to invite him there and get continental exposure.
