I'm in 3rd place playing with a group of BERGIE, LEAFAN (Jeff) and DBA (Mike). Jeff kept me in the SunSportsTrivia in the last game but I've given the most answers in this music game.
My game so far had gone like this:

The answers looked like this would be about something current in music history so I should have a good chance to get this one. I was sure I would have got last week's question ie. 'Just The Two Of Us' was remade by Will Smith and the bar finished 31st with a 28371 average. So with 50% on the line....
Question:...Who performed the duet with Elvis Costello on "I Throw My Toys Around".
I don't know this. I'd seen Elvis Costello and Burt Bacharach on the American Music Awards earlier this week. My thoughts were Barenaked Ladies are novelty enough but I would have heard about these hometown heroes if they'd dueted. Goo Goo Dolls?...Dolls/Toys didn't think so but no logical reason. Smashing Pumpkins were too recent an Encore answer. I put Matchbox 20 and said to the group I didn't know. Looks like we'd all split so someone would be right as noone was sure. BERGIE covered Goo Goo Dolls and LEAFAN and DBA chose No Doubt.

I didn't see the soundtrack on display at any of the music stores I'd been to earlier today. Ironically I got a real bargain on a Lesley Gore hits CD a few hours earlier but had not had a chance to play it before tonight's Triviaoke lyrics of 'You Don't Own Me'. Soundtrack songs are often used to keep artists between albums in the news while they work on new material. I never read about it or saw it in the store.
I'm wrong and finish 9th in the bar with 9032 points. Seven people got the answer right mostly in the leaders so our bar finished 8th in North America with a 26956 average.
