Decorated Midfielder Cloey Uddenberg Marks the Fourth Player Signing for AFC Toronto

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Toronto, ON (November 28, 2024) – AFC Toronto is excited to announce the signing of
Richmond Hill native and St. Kitts & Nevis National Team midfielder, Cloey Uddenberg (22 years
old). As the club's fourth signing, Uddenberg demonstrates the club's commitment to recruit the
best players from the GTA as we build towards a 2025 kick-off.

Uddenberg collegiate journey began at the University of Guelph, where she earned USPORTS
All-Canadian honours and OUA MVP recognition. She later transferred to South Alabama,
where she experienced an undefeated regular season and built a reputation as a consistent and
reliable performer at the NCAA DI level. Following that she captained the U20 team for St. Kitts
and Nevis, and competed in the World Cup and Olympic Qualifying tournaments.

“Cloey has excelled at mastering the fundamentals, an often underrated yet essential quality in
professional football,” said Marko Milanovic, Head Coach of AFC Toronto. “Her versatility and
relentless work ethic will elevate our team’s performance, and we couldn’t be more excited to
have her on board.”

Uddenberg’s success continued at Purdue University in 2024, where she logged significant
minutes and demonstrated her consistency and versatility, as she tested herself in one of the
most competitive conferences in NCAA DI soccer. In League1 Ontario, she proved to be a
game-changer with Simcoe Rovers FC, earning back-to-back All-Star honours and being named
the 2023 Midfielder of the Year.

“I’m honoured to join AFC Toronto and take this next step in my career,” said Uddenberg. “This
city’s passion for soccer and sense of community inspires me, and I’m excited to contribute to
building a team that fans can rally behind.”
More player announcements are set to be released over the coming months and into the new
year as the team prepares for its debut season.
