October 15, 2024...post game press conference after the Canada vs Panama Men's Friendly game (recorded by Rocket Robin)

All the audio from the post game press conference with both head coaches recorded
after the Men's International friendly of Tuesday October 15, 2024 between Canada and Panama played at BMO Field in Toronto
at 7:30pm.

If I ask the question it's in bold lettering.

Panama head coach Thomas Christiansen

post game audio 11 minutes 02 seconds
Questions for Thomas Christiansen:
The first six questions were all asked and answered in Spanish by the coach (who is from Denmark).
You must assume you are one of the favourite CONCACAF teams to qualify for the World Cup for a 48 team tourney,
so how impressed are you of the travelling supporters who will support you in the USA and Canada?
You must be one of the favourites?

Did you think a draw would have been a fairer result?
A final question and answer in Spanish.

Canada head coach Jesse Marsch

post game audio 15 minutes 10 seconds
Questions for Jesse Marsch:
What was your take on the performance?
What is your takeaway from this camp?
What else do you see from this test?
Where do you think Moise Bombito can go from here after tonight's game?
What international players would you compare Bombito too?
Now that you've seen the pitch conditions here, do you think that will effect your next game here? (November's Nation's League quarterfinal)
Do you think Liam Millar doesn't get enough credit?
What impressed you to give Kwasi Poku his debut and what did does that say about development of players in Canada?
What do you do about intersquad competition with Cyle Larin and then Jonathan David both scoring their 30th goals for Canada tonight?
What are your thoughts on Ali Ahmed tonight?
What did you think about tonight's physicality?

.............................................................................................................

I missed all the player hallway interviews tonight. I didn't realize they were being conducted first. The first time that happened was at the Women's friendly here back in June. I didn't even think about why this conference room was so empty when I got here. I enjoyed my time in the press box more than ever because it was the first time I'd ever sat in the first row but I was far enough away that I couldn't hear the announcement of the order of post match activities. A CSA official answered me later while a crew dismantled the backdrop that there were six players brought out (not all at the same time). They included Alphonso Davies, Liam Millar, Moises Bombito, Kwasi Poku, Cyle Larin, and a sixth player as well as Dwayne DeRosario.

If I'd just double checked my notes about the last press conference here I would have been reminded of the order of events. Also double checking the transit news online would have tipped me off not to take a streetcar that left me stranded four miles away from the stadium. Glad I left my home soon enough for the time to work around that.
