waiting at 3 yards.

I didn't realize I 'missed' the '28' and '34' minute goals. I saw them clearly but didn't realize the number I wrote down for each did not match any of the pinnies listed on the game sheets or I would have asked at the end of the game. I did hear before a game “Well wear this one” which I suppose was for a player who couldn't find the right one. I'll count that against myself as a pre-season error. **Follow up news! Thanks to a tweet to Anthony Totera he replied within a day and filled me in on the missing goalscorers! Some of the cornerkicks were hidden from my view because of the overlap of the balcony. There was a guy with a camcorder on a tripod filming for the league he said who was supposed to be on the higher 'broadcast' balcony but it was closed so he was down with us. He had trouble too with mothers leaning over the side to watch the cornerkicks on the near side. I suggested he switch to the restricted other side of the balcony from where the coaches were watching the game. He said he'd move at halftime but he didn't leave until the afternoon sessions. Thanks to L1O game day staffers for giving me a copy of the game sheets when I first arrived at 8:45am. This typewritten list meant the teams were planned at least a few hours in advance. Team lineups had Vaughan defenders Shiquan Lowe and Jarred Phillips play against defender teammate Daniel Cramarossa, plus goalie Matt George, and forward Jarek Whiteman. Oakville had goalie Lukas Birnstingl and midfielder Rajvir Kahlon play against midfield teammate Khody Ellis. Woodbridge's Bruce Cullen faced off against teammates Francio Henry and Emmanuel Issac. London's Marko Maletic battled teammates Mohammed Nafar and Connor Wilson. Darby midfielders Christain Moncrieffe and Shaun Claud Lawson were both on the Yellow team. The Yellow team advanced 11 players to the afternoon game...very impressive as their squad was only 12 for this game. The Blue team was almost as good with 10 of their 12 players moving on to the afternoon game.
