Gameday Report: September 13, Week 25 By USLLeagueOne.com, 09/13/19, 6:15PM EDT Perruzza's brace helps TFC II top OCB at home toronto fc II (3) v Orlando city b (2) Match Center A late own goal helped Toronto FC II defeat Orlando City B, 3-2, Friday afternoon at BMO Training Ground. Key Events: Lucas Ontivero opened the scoring for Orlando City B in the 23rd minute, using a clever turn to beat his defender before firing a left-footed shot past Eric Klenofsky from a tight angle to score his first goal for the club. Toronto FC II responded to the early deficit well and equalized from the penalty spot in the 39th minute after an OCB defender was whistled for a handball. Jordan Perruzza stepped up and sent Juliano Chade the wrong way, hesitating before rolling the ball into the goal to his left for his eleventh goal of the season. Perruzza put his side in front just minutes into the second half after finding space inside the six-yard box. Jordan Faria picked out Perruzza with a cross from the right flank and the striker poked it past Klenofsky for his second goal of the game and third in two weeks. Orlando equalized in the 68th minute through a penalty of their own after Terique Mohammed dragged William Bagrou down inside the box. Thiago Souza struck a great penalty to draw his side level, beating Klenofsky to the goalkeeper’s right with a shot that found the top corner. TFC II grabbed a late winner after Jayden Nelson broke free down the left flank. Nelson drove into the box before playing a low cross into a pack of bodies inside the six-yard box. Nelson’s cross was touched last by OCB’s Tanner Hummel and the own goal was enough to secure three points for the home side. The win moves Toronto into eighth place, with the ninth place Richmond Kickers set to play tomorrow night. With four points separating TFC II from the fourth and final playoff spot, Michael Rabasca’s side is still in the race for the playoffs. Toronto will head to South Carolina to take on Greenville Triumph SC next Friday. With Orlando already eliminated from playoff contention, the loss does little except extend the club’s winless run to 14 games. OCB hasn’t earned a point in a match since its 1-1 draw with Chattanooga Red Wolves SC on July 10. Next stop for Orlando is Chattanooga for a rematch with the Red Wolves. 4-1-4-1 4-1-4-1 Toronto FC II Orlando City B 3 2 September 13, 2019 4:00 PM Venue BMO Training Ground Attendance 120 Referee Brad Doubrough Toronto FC II 40 Klenofsky (C) GK 90+5' Yellow card 88 West DF 57 Mohammed DF 61 Romeo DF 42 Bunk-Andersen DF 37 Waja MF 58 Faria MF 51' Yellow card, 90+5' subbed off 39 Petrasso MF 35 Essoussi MF 79' subbed off 19 Dorsey MF 62' subbed off 77 Perruzza FW 39' Penalty kick GOAL, 56' GOAL Substitutes 90 Himaras 52 Dunn-Johnson 81 Antonoglou 85 Carlini 53 Nelson 62' subbed in 97 Priso-Mbongue 79' subbed in 64 Hundal 90+5' subbed in Manager Rabasca Orlando City B 1 Juliano Chade GK 38' Yellow card 2 Leonardo Simas DF 15 Hummel DF 85' Own GOAL 13 Hill DF 4 John (C) DF 18 Amer MF 25 Granitur MF 58' subbed out 29 Ontivero MF 23' GOAL, 62' subbed out 10 Rafael MF 11 Thiago Souza MF 71' Penalty shot GOAL, 72' Yellow card 9 Bagrou FW Substitutes 12 Herrera 14 Mendoza 5 Serginho 62' subbed in 20 Hernández 58' subbed in 7 Mbuyu Manager Sibaja TFC II ORL C B 52.9% Possession 47.1% 53.7% Duels success rate 46.3% 64.3% Aerial duels won 35.7% 12 Interceptions 4 1 Offsides 3 5 Corners 7 428 Passes 372 47 Long passes 53 83.4% Passing accuracy 83.1% 75.9% Passing acc in opp half 71.1% 14 Crosses 14 28.6% Crossing accuracy 21.4% 3 Goals 2 21 Shots 14 11 Shots on target 5 3 Blocked shots 7 7 Shots outside the box 5 14 Shots inside the box 9 52.4% Shooting accuracy 35.7% 25 Tackles 14 68.0% Tackles success rate 78.6% 10 Clearances 16 17 Fouls conceded 11 2 Yellow cards 2 0 Red cards 0
