Bunk-Andersen was quickest to the rebound, nodding it home. Substitute Jordan Perruzza danced past a his defender and slotted a left-footed shot past Cleveland at the near post in the 92nd minute to seal the three points for Toronto FC II. Takeaways: HOME TURF - With the victory over Lansing, Toronto improved its home record to 3-0-0 on the season. The win also extends TFC II’s unbeaten run to four games, narrowly missing out on taking all 12 points from those matches after conceding a late goal in the 2-2 draw with Chattanooga Red Wolves SC last weekend. The recent run of good form has moved Toronto into third place in the standings, just two points behind second place South Georgia Tormenta. ORGANIZED DEFENSIVELY - After giving up four goals in two games last week, Toronto regained its defensive stability against Lansing to earn its fourth clean sheet of the season. The hosts were defensively sound throughout the match, limiting the Ignite to three shots on target all of which came from distance and failed to trouble goalkeeper Kevin Silva. STREAK SNAPPED - The loss in Toronto was Lansing’s first in five matches, snapping the club's longest unbeaten stretch of the season. The Ignite will remain on the road and look to rebound from Saturday’s loss next week in a visit to Greenville Triumph SC. HIGH FLYING ATTACK - Toronto has now scored eight goals in its previous three matches. TFC II continue to look dangerous on the wings with the pace of Week 10 Player of the Week Jacob Shaffelburg and Terique Mohammed as the team went on to put 11 shots on frame and pumped three past a Lansing side that entered the match with back-to-back clean sheets. Toronto has rotated several players in around Shaffelburg and Mohammed and all have looked equally as dangerous. Griffin Dorsey and Matthew Srbley were especially effective against Lansing, playing seven key passes and registering three shots between them. 4-1-4-1 3-4-2-1 Toronto FC II Lansing Ignite 3 0 June 8, 2019 4:00 PM Referee Myriam Marcotte Venue BMO Training Ground Attendance 113 Toronto FC II 90 Silva GK 48 Campbell DF 57 Mohammed DF 36 Ramos Mingo DF 42 Bunk-Andersen DF 80' GOAL 43 Ovalle (C) MF 48' Yellow card 19 Dorsey MF 66' Yellow card 31 Endoh MF 55' subbed out 50 Srbely MF 83' subbed out 84 Shaffelburg MF 64 Hundal FW 29' GOAL, 51' missed Penalty kick, 63' subbed out Substitutes 80 King 72 Peters 35 Essoussi 58 Faria 39 Petrasso 55' subbed in 37 Waja 83' subbed in 77 Perruzza 63' subbed in, 90+1' GOAL Manager Rabasca Lansing Ignite FC 30 Cleveland GK 15 Lillard DF 5 Fricke (C) DF 80' subbed out 4 Stoneman DF 2 Williams MF 25 Hollingsworth MF 21 Cerda MF 68' subbed out 12 Silva MF 45' subbed out 20 Bruce FW 10 Gómez FW 14 Moon FW Substitutes 1 Kirk 8 Carr 68' subbed in 17 Coiffic 16 Jones 24 N'For 45' subbed in 6 Pérez 19 Botello Faz 80' subbed in Manager Miller Game statistics TFC Lan 48.8% Possession 51.2% 46.0% Duels success rate 54.0% 73.1% Aerial duels won 26.9% 7 Interceptions 14 0 Offsides 4 5 Corners 1 418 Passes 441 63 Long passes 73 78.2% Passing accuracy 78.5% 68.6% Passing acc in opp half 60.4% 19 Crosses 10 34.6% Crossing accuracy 10.0% 3 Goals 0 18 Shots 11 11 Shots on target 3 2 Blocked shots 4 8 Shots outside the box 4 10 Shots inside the box 7 61.1% Shooting accuracy 27.3% 17 Tackles 26 70.6% Tackles success rate 61.5% 10 Clearances 10 19 Fouls conceded 10 2 Yellow cards 0 0 Red cards 0
