Louisville looks to extend lead in Eastern Conference

VAUGHAN, Ont. – Louisville City FC will try to extend its lead at the top of the 
USL Eastern Conference to 10 points when it visits Toronto FC II for the second game 
of its trip to Canada on Wednesday night at the Ontario Soccer Centre. 
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.

Toronto FC II news and notes

•Current record: 5-17-7, 22pts

•Toronto fell 2-1 to the Harrisburg City Islanders on Sept. 16 in its most recent 
outing for the team’s third successive defeat.

•Shaan Hundal opened the scoring for TFC II in Harrisburg, but a pair of goals either 
side of halftime lifted the City Islanders to victory.

•Toronto is looking for its first victory in a month on Wednesday night, with the 
club’s last win having come on Aug. 26 against the Charlotte Independence.

•Goalkeeper Angelo Cavalluzzo remains among the league leaders in saves, sitting 
tied for sixth with 75 stops in 18 appearances this season.

Louisville City FC news and notes

•Current record: 16-5-7, 55pts

•Louisville was held to a 1-1 draw by Ottawa Fury FC on Sunday afternoon at TD Place 
as the side ran its undefeated streak to five games.

•George Davis IV opened the scoring for Louisville for his second in as many games, 
but Fury FC hit back later in the second half to earn a point.

•Louisville will clinch the opportunity at two home games in the USL Cup Playoffs with 
a victory on Wednesday night, and put itself within reach of claiming the No. 1 seed 
in the Eastern Conference.

•Oscar Jimenez leads the USL with 67 chances created this season, and has recorded 
five assists.
