VAUGHAN, Ontario (June 14, 2017) – One week after a 1-1 draw at home, Orlando City B (4-5-4,
16 points) fell, 1-0, to Toronto FC II (2-7-5, 11 points) Wednesday afternoon
at Ontario Soccer Centre. Goalkeeper Jake Fenlason made his first start of the season
while Orlando City Development Academy product David Loera made his first professional start.

“It was a disappointing afternoon,” OCB Head Coach Anthony Pulis said. “We got caught cold
at the start. We give the goal away in the ninth minute and we had to make that early sub.
Second half was a little bit better but short of what we have been recently and what
we expect moving forward.”

Pulis was forced into a substitution in the third minute when First Team defender Seb Hines
suffered an awkward fall. He was replaced by fellow First Teamer Conor Donovan.

Toronto FC II forward Jordan Hamilton opened the scoring in the ninth minute when
he capitalized on a loose ball in the box.

Fenlason rebounded from the early goal with a strong performance in his first minutes of 2017.
The former Akron Zip shut down two separate free kicks from just outside the box. In the
78th minute, a strike from Endoh was blocked and Fenlason got in the way of the quick rebound.
Fenlason finished with three saves.

Zach Ellis-Hayden and Austin Martz both found Michael Cox with crosses into the box,
but both attempts were halted by Toronto FC II goalkeeper Angelo Cavalluzzo. Ellis-Hayden,
Donovan and Zach Carroll made multiple successful tackles that frustrated Toronto’s attacks
and relieved the pressure.

The Lions threatened with numerous runs from Ryley Kraft and Ben Polk as they pressed
for the equalizer. Michael Cox, who led OCB with 11 goals in 2016, found the ball in attacking
areas and finished with three shots on target.

In addition to Loera, Academy midfielder Allen Seals featured in the match, entering in place
of Ryley Kraft in the 85th minute. Academy goalkeeper Aaron Smith was on the 18-man lineup,
as was defender Jordi Avila.

Orlando City B returns to Canada on Tuesday, June 20, when it visits Ottawa Fury FC.
Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. OCB then revisits the Rochester Rhinos on June 23. The Lions
return home to welcome FC Cincinnati on Saturday, July 1, at 8:30 p.m. ET.
