Second meeting of season sends Riverhounds north of the border

VAUGHAN, Ont. – The Pittsburgh Riverhounds will try to claim their second victory of the season 
against Toronto FC II when the two teams meet on Saturday night at the Ontario Soccer Centre. 
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.

Toronto FC II news and notes

•Current record: 1-7-4, 7pts

•Toronto fell 2-0 to Saint Louis FC in its last outing last Friday night, extending its winless 
streak to 11 games as the side remains last in the Eastern Conference.

•TFC II has been held scoreless in each of its past three games, and has only scored three goals 
overall this season.

•Luca Uccello’s goal against the Tampa Bay Rowdies is the only goal Toronto has scored in four 
home games this season, where the side is 0-2-2 this season.

•Saturday’s game opens a series of four home games in the next five contests for TFC II, with 
Orlando City B the next visitor to the Ontario Soccer Centre next Wednesday afternoon.

Pittsburgh Riverhounds news and notes

•Current record: 4-5-3, 15pts

•The Riverhounds slid out of the Eastern Conference playoff positions after a 2-1 defeat 
to Orlando City B at Highmark Stadium last Saturday night.

•Corey Hertzog’s sixth goal of the season gave Pittsburgh the lead against Orlando, but OCB 
hit back with goals either side of halftime to earn the road win.

•Pittsburgh is now winless in its last three games, but it’s last victory came in Canada when 
it defeated Ottawa Fury FC 1-0 on May 13.

•Hertzog’s next goal for the Riverhounds will be his 20th in the USL regular season for the 
club since arriving prior to the start of the 2016 season.
