Cincinnati aims for first back-to-back wins this season

CINCINNATI – FC Cincinnati will look to pick up back-to-back victories in league play for 
the first time this season when it plays host to the Eastern Conference’s last-place 
Toronto FC II at Nippert Stadium. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. ET.

FC Cincinnati news and notes

•Current record: 3-4-3, 12pts

•FC Cincinnati earned a 2-1 victory against Bethlehem Steel FC last Saturday in front 
of 18,441 fans at Nippert Stadium to break a five-game league winless streak.

•Danni König scored a pair of goals, his first for the club, to lead the victory. 
The Danish forward was named to the USL Team of the Week on Tuesday.

•Cincinnati sits fifth in the USL with 129 total shots this season, of which 44 have 
been on target.

•All 11 of Cincinnati’s goals in the league this season have come from inside the 
penalty area, with six arriving via headers.

Toronto FC II news and notes

•Current record: 1-5-4, 7pts

•Toronto saw its winless streak extend to nine games on Wednesday afternoon 
as it drew 0-0 with the Richmond Kickers at the Ontario Soccer Centre.

•The shutout was Toronto’s fifth of the season, as Mark Pais recorded his second 
shutout individually.

•TFC II will be without Anthony Osorio for Saturday’s game after he was sent off 
in the 60th minute against the Kickers.

•Toronto is sixth in the league with 4,062 attempted passes this season, one place 
ahead of FCC, and is averaging 303 completed passes per game.
