Match Recap: Toronto FC II vs. Bethlehem Steel FC May 13, 2017 9:08PM EDT Adam Krueger The Young Reds dropped their second consecutive match 1-0 on Saturday Night. 3,033 fans witnessed Bethlehem Steel FC walk away with the three points. Bethlehem jumped ahead on a first-half penalty kick. Cory Burke stepped up to the spot and slotted the ball home to Angelo Cavalluzzo’s left. The Reds controlled the majority of the possession in the second half but could just not find that finishing touch. The best opportunity came late when substitute Shaan Hundal worked his way into the box before sending a blast of a shot at the net. However, keeper Jake McGuire parlayed the shot away. "I can’t fault the player's effort or quality. They basically did everything we asked and above that, except for putting the ball in the back of the net." said head coach Jason Bent, "We just have to keep doing things right and stay positive. I’m sure once we score one goal then the floodgates will open, it’s a tough one to take for sure."
