Pittsburgh – Toronto FC II saw their unbeaten and shutout streaks both snapped at the hands of the
Pittsburgh Riverhounds on Wednesday night.

The Reds were able to hold off the Hounds long enough to officially make it the longest shutout
streak in team history. However, Victor Souto snapped the streak on an absolute stunner of a goal
from outside the box. It was the first goal the Young Reds had conceded in over 332 minutes of play.

The Young Reds opened the second half with some jump, however, the Riverhounds held strong. The Reds
mustered eleven shots in the match, but just two landed on target. They controlled possession
throughout most of the game and finished with 58.1% of the possession.

Angelo Cavalluzzo had another strong performance, putting together a three-save effort while keeping
the Reds in it late. Despite all their efforts, the Young Reds just could not find that finishing
touch and the match ended 1-0 for the Hounds.

The Young Reds are back in action on May 13 when they host Bethlehem Steel FC at BMO Field as part
of a doubleheader with the first team.
