Louisville looks to remain undefeated as Toronto visits

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Louisville City FC sits as the lone undefeated side in the Eastern Conference 
when it welcomes a Toronto FC II side that has held opponents scoreless in each of its past 
two contests to Slugger Field on Saturday night. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.

Louisville City FC news and notes

•Current record: 3-0-2, 11pts

•Louisville extended its undefeated streak with a 1-1 draw in the first River Cities Cup game 
of the season against FC Cincinnati at Nippert Stadium last Saturday night.


•Brian Ownby scored his first goal for Louisville to give the side the lead, and claimed 
the USL Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week for his well-struck finish from 25 yards.


•Louisville’s undefeated streak in regular-season action has now reached 10 consecutive games 
dating back to the end of the 2016 USL regular season.


•City sits third in the USL with 76 shots this season, trailing only 
Sacramento Republic FC (87) and the Tampa Bay Rowdies (85).


Toronto FC II news and notes

•Current record: 1-2-2, 5pts


•Toronto earned a second consecutive point last Saturday when they played to a 0-0 draw 
against Ottawa Fury FC.


•Angelo Cavalluzzo recorded four saves against Ottawa to earn his second consecutive shutout, 
and Toronto’s third overall this season.


•Saturday’s contest could see Canada U23 National Team colleagues square off, with 
Toronto’s Jordan Hamilton and Louisville’s Mark-Anthony Kaye both part of the squad that
