Toronto FC II news and notes •Current record: 1-0-0, 3pts •Toronto FC II took a 1-0 victory against Phoenix Rising FC last Saturday night as it spoiled the opening of the Phoenix Rising Soccer Complex in front of 6,890 fans. •Ryan Telfer scored the only goal of the game in the eighth minute as the visitors got strong midfield performances by loanees Jay Chapman and Marky Delgado to earn the three points. •Toronto begins a two-game swing through the state of Florida with Saturday’s game, which will see the side visit Orlando City B on Tuesday night at Orlando City Stadium. •TFC II will host its home opener next Friday night when it welcomes the Rochester Rhinos to the Ontario Soccer Centre.
