Toronto aims to rebound from late defeat when it hosts City Islanders

VAUGHN, Ont. – Toronto FC II will look to rebound from a late defeat in its last outing as it hosts 
a Harrisburg City Islanders side that claimed an impressive draw on the road earlier this week 
at the Ontario Soccer Centre. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.

Toronto FC II news and notes
•Current record: 6-13-5, 23pts
•Toronto was edged out 2-1 by Orlando City B last Saturday night as a late equalizer 
by Mitchell Taintor was overturned by Michael Cox’s winner for OCB.
•Taintor’s goal, his first as a professional, was voted as the USL Goal of the Week 
on Wednesday.
•The loss to Orlando dropped Toronto eight points back of the eighth and final place 
in the Eastern Conference playoffs with six games remaining.
•Toronto FC II goalkeepers have now combined for 100 saves this season, with Alex Bono

•The City Islanders earned a 1-1 draw against Louisville City FC on Wednesday night,

•Jose Barril scored for Harrisburg against Louisville, and is now tied for the team-high 
with five goals this season.
•Harrisburg and Toronto have both conceded 45 goals this season, tied for most in the USL.
•The City Islanders have recorded 105 shots on goal this season, while their opponents
