Midweek clash sees both teams looking to rebound from weekend defeats

VAUGHN, Ontario – Toronto FC II and Bethlehem Steel FC will both try to bounce back from defeats 
this past Saturday when they meet for a midweek contest at the Ontario Soccer Centre 
on Wednesday night. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.

Toronto FC II news and notes
•Current record: 3-11-4, 13 points
•Toronto fell 3-0 to Wilmington Hammerheads FC on Saturday night as a side missing some 
key players fell behind early and was unable to recover at Legion Stadium.
•The defeat was Toronto’s fourth in a row since a three-game undefeated streak at the 
start of June.
•TFC II leading scorer Raheem Edwards made his MLS debut on Saturday as he came on as 
a substitute in a 1-1 draw against Seattle Sounders FC
•Toronto will face another Pennsylvania-based side this Sunday when it visits the 
Harrisburg City Islanders in its next contest.

Bethlehem Steel FC news and notes
•Current record: 4-5-6, 18 points
•The Steel were edged out on Saturday night by FC Cincinnati, which took a 1-0 victory 
behind Jimmy McLaughlin’s second-half goal.
•Bethlehem is winless in its last three contests, and now sits two points back of Wilmington 
for the eighth and final place in the playoff positions.
•The Steel have been limited offensively over their past five games, recording only 
two goals in that span.
•Following Wednesday’s game, the Steel will open a six-game home stand on Sunday afternoon 
against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds.
