FC Montreal faces Toronto FC II on Wednesday in Ontario June 14, 2016 10:46 AM EDT Press release TORONTO, Ontario – FC Montreal will play its second of four consecutive games on the road this Wednesday at 11:30 am against Toronto FC II at the Ontario Soccer Centre. Last Saturday, in the first game of this trip, Montreal lost 2-1 in Cincinnati in front of more than 14,000 fans at Nippert Stadium, the biggest crowd that the club’s second team has played in front of since its inauguration in 2015. The team’s record currently stands at 3-7-3 record and 12 points, good for 12th position in the Eastern Conference. “We expect a tight game against a rival, where the emotional aspect is always important,” said head coach Philippe Eullaffroy. “We have to control our emotions, which cost us at least a point in the first game we played against them. If we score fast or allow a goal, we need to remain focused on the game plan. We hope to confirm the quality that we displayed in Cincinnati a few days ago. If we are capable of showing that quality, we should be able to cause some trouble for Toronto. We need everyone. Those who entered as substitutes in Cincinnati brought something more to the game.
