Battery return home to host TFC II side coming off midweek win

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Charleston Battery return home to MUSC Health Stadium to host Toronto FC II 
on Saturday night with the visitors looking to build off a big midweek victory, and the Battery 
aiming to build on a victory on Monday night. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.

Charleston Battery news and notes
•Current record: 3-2-3, 12 points
•The Battery brought a four-game winless streak to an end on Monday night as they took a 3-2 win 
against the Harrisburg City Islanders at FNB Field.
•Austin Savage scored the winning goal with 10 minutes to go, as the City Islanders missed a late 
penalty to allow the Battery to escape with all three points.
•Charleston is undefeated at home this season (2-0-1), which has extended the club’s home 
undefeated streak in the USL to 28 games.
•Romario Williams sits tied for third in the league with five goals in eight games this season 
on loan from the Montreal Impact.

Toronto FC II news and notes
•Current record: 2-3-2, 8 points
•Toronto got back in the win column in a Wednesday matinee at the Ontario Soccer Centre as it defeated 
the Richmond Kickers 1-0.
•Salvador Bernal scored the only goal with 15 minutes to go, as Quillan Roberts recorded a six-save 
shutout for the hosts.
•Toronto will be without four key players on national team duty, with Chris Mannella, Skylar Thomas, 
Jordan Hamilton and Raheem Edwards all with Canada’s U23 National Team in the Caribbean.
•Edwards was the lone player to have played every minute of the season so far for Toronto.
