Game Talk:
“Nine weeks with one meaningful game has been hard on the guys. They’re chomping at the bit to get out there and compete”
- Head Coach Mark Steffens

“We took nine points from them in three games last season. Hopefully we can continue that form this year”
- Midfielder/Captain Kevin Kerr

Game Notes:
• The Hounds hit the road for the first time this year to the welcoming confines of the Ontario Soccer Centre. Kevin Kerr
notched the first goal at the refurbished facility during TFCII’s home opener at the venue last July.
• Kerr was a thorn in Toronto’s side last year with goals in the first two encounters and an assist on Lebo Moloto’s strike
during the Hounds’ return visit to Ontario. The Scottish midfielder misses this weekend’s trip while awaiting finalization
of his U.S. permanent resident card application.
• Jamaican defender Sergio Campbell could also miss out on the Canada trip due to paperwork issues.
• Toronto has been a hospitable city for the Hounds over the years. Our first trip north in July 1999 ended with a 4-0 win
over the Toronto Lynx with Jaman Tripoli, Mike Butler, David Flavius and Michael Apple grabbing the goals.
• Former Hounds head coach Justin Evans led his side to a 1-0 win over The Reds’ reserves at BMO Field in July 2013
before Toronto F.C. II entered the USL for the 2015 season.
• The Hounds return to Highmark Stadium on April 22 when Orlando City B provides the opposition on Go Green Night.
