Toronto FC II return to the Ontario Soccer Centre this Saturday for their final home match
of the season against rivals FC Montreal.

It’s simply a battle for bragging rights between the two clubs as both were officially knocked
out of playoff contention this past weekend.

The young Reds are coming off a 2-2 draw at home against the Charlotte Independence in what
was one of their better offensive performances of the season.

TFC II currently sit 11th in the Eastern Conference with a record of 5-14-4.

The Opposition

FC Montreal was thrashed 6-0 on the road by the Harrisburg City Islanders last Saturday.

Montreal’s winless streak was extended to three games following the loss against Harrisburg.

Their last victory came against TFC II, a 2-1 victory on August 12th at Stade Saputo
Turf Field.

Jeremy Gagnon-Lapare opened up the scoring from the penalty spot and Jacque Haman added
Montreal’s second of the match and eventual game-winner early on in the second half.

FC Montreal sit 10th in the Eastern Conference with a record of 7-14-4 going into Saturday.

Players to Watch

FC Montreal’s leading scorer Alessandro Riggi missed their last match due to a suspension
for yellow card accumulation but is expected to be back on Saturday. Riggi leads FC Montreal
with seven goals this season.

Jacque Haman was a difficult task to deal with for TFC II defenders in their most
recent meeting.

Haman won the penalty that gave them the lead and followed up by scoring the game
winner against the Reds.

Academy Players Added to the TFC II Roster

Earlier in the week Toronto FC II announced that they have added Kia TFC Academy players
Steven Furlano, Andrew Dias and Richie Ennin to the player pool.

Furlano, Dias and Ennin most recently played for the Academy in League1 Ontario.

With the team officially out of playoff contention, it's possible that the three will
make an appearance on Saturday.
