The young Reds will look to bounce back from their 2-0 loss against the Harrisburg City Islanders on Wednesday. It’s been a busy stretch for the squad as Saturday’s match against Red Bulls II will be their fifth in two weeks. Saturday's match will also be the third match of a 5-game home stand for TFC II before the team goes on the road to close out the season. This will be the second and final meeting between the two clubs this season. The first match was played at Red Bull Arena on April 4th, a 4-1 victory for NYRB II. The Opposition The Red Bulls II are currently on a three-game winless streak following their 1-1 draw against Charlotte Independence back on August 12th. NYRB II hold a record of 9-8-6 in 23 matches played, 5th in the Eastern Conference. A win for the visitors would possibly put the team in a tie with Charleston Battery for third place in the East. Marius Obekop and Leo Stolz have both scored four goals this season and Derrick Etienne, Frank Castellanos, and Konrad Plewa have contributed with three each. Anatole Abang has an impressive tally of four goals in six games and scored the opening goal against TFC II in their 4-1 win on April 4th, however, the Cameroonian forward has been with the first team for majority of the season and is not expected to play on Saturday.
