Match Preview: TFC II vs. Richmond Kickers First meeting of the season between the two clubs August 14, 2015 Anthony Campos torontofc.ca Toronto FC II are back at the Ontario Soccer Centre this Saturday to take on the Richmond Kickers at 3PM ET. The young Reds are looking to bounce back from a 2-1 loss against bitter rivals FC Montreal this past Wednesday. TFC II are on a three-game losing streak and currently sit 11th in the Eastern Conference with a record of 4-12-3. The Opposition The Richmond Kickers are coming off a two game road trip that saw the team play two matches in two days. The Kickers suffered a 3-2 defeat on Saturday against the Harrisburg City Islanders and followed that up 24 hours later with a 1-1 draw against the best team in the USL, the Rochester Rhinos. The Virginia based team is one of the top clubs in the Eastern Conference with a record of 8-5-9, good enough for 4th in the East. Players to Watch TFC II will be keeping a close eye on forward Jason Yeisley. The Kickers forward is currently leading the team in goals with 11 and most recently picked up a brace, both penalty kicks, against Harrisburg City Islanders on Saturday. George Davis and Matthew Delicate will also be closely watched by TFC II. Both players are tied for second in team scoring with 6 goals each. Milestone for the Captain TFC II Captain Chris Mannella hit a milestone on Wednesday as he scored his first professional goal for the club against FC Montreal. It’s a proud achievement for Mannella who has risen through the ranks after joining the Kia Toronto FC Academy in 2009 when he was just 15 years old. TFC II takes on Pittsburgh Riverhounds this Saturday, August 8th at the Ontario Soccer Centre at 8:00PM ET.
